    • As of now, you can benefit from our compendious overview of digital resources (e-books, e-journals etc.) in form of subject information. Sorry, at the moment is only the german version available (english version in progress) - see ...here

      The university library of the University of Salzburg provides students, researchers and lecturers with a total of more than 3 million books, 40.000 e-journals and 300 accessible data bases.

    • Full text newspapers and magazines
      A selection of current national and international newspapers and magazines in full text can be found in the Pressreader database www.pressreader.com

      • Law databases
        Law database publishers Manz, LexisNexis.at, and Linde have lifted regional restrictions of access to their respective databases due to Covid-19 pandemics:

Online search engine UBsearch is available for your research continually. However, ordering and pre-ordering is suspended for the duration of the closure. Via UBsearch, you can access all digital media and e-resources available to students, researchers and lecturers of the University of Salzburg.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS OF THE UNIVERSITY LIBRARY 

 

 

All library locations at University of Salzburg are closed from March 14th 2020 until further notice.     

We kindly ask you to observe the following information regarding library use:

  • During the closing period, physical media cannot be ordered or pre-ordered, borrowed or returned.
  • Book return boxes are not operated.
  • All media loans (even when already pre-ordered) are extended for the duration of the closing period.
  • During closing period, reminder fees and late fines will not be added or will be cancelled for the duration of the closing respectively.
  • Interlibrary loans are suspended.
  • Please do not return borrowed media by mail!
  • Pre-orders on lent out media will be observed. Media, made ready for pick up will be available for one week after regular library services have resumed.
  • During closing period, library cards will not be issued.
  • Library tours, workshops and events are cancelled.
