ERASMUS Internship Opportunity

The International Relations Department at the University of Salzburg is pleased to offer an Erasmus traineeship opportunity in summer semester 2021.

The traineeship requires participation in the organisational intricacies of the exchange programmes offered at the university. Language competence in spoken and written German and English must exceed C1.

The traineeship would ideally begin on the 1st February 2020 and should last for at least five months, providing there are no further restrictive regulations imposed due to COVID-19. If the government imposes preventative restrictions, we may have to postpone or cancel the traineeship.

Funding within the framework of the Erasmus programme, as granted by the sending institution, is a prerequisite for this traineeship. The successful applicant will not receive payment from the University of Salzburg for this role.

Please send your detailed application, including a cover letter and CV, by email until the 18th October 2020 to Petra Höpfner.

The orientation weeks for Erasmus and exchange students studying at the University of Salzburg in the winter semester/ academic year 2020/21 will take place from Monday, 21st September to Thursday, 1st October 2020. Under the given circumstances, the otherwise extensive programme had to be somewhat reduced. Nevertheless, students will receive all important information on studying and living in Salzburg. Faculty and library tours are unfortunately not possible, but virtual tours are being prepared. Meet-ups organised during the orientation weeks will be limited and will only be possible in accordance with COVID-19 regulations. We hope that this will still give you the opportunity to get to know each other and to help you feel more at home, both at the university and in the city of Salzburg. Participation at Orientation Weeks is not obligatory, but recommended!
